JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a very important exam for engineering aspirants as it helps in admission to India’s most sought-after institutes like IITs. JEE exam consists of 2 exams – JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main occurs in two sessions out of which the best marks are chosen for the qualifying cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam which further decides whether you will get into the IIT. So, it is very important that you prepare with the most recommended JEE books to not leave any stone unturned. The JEE Main cut-off 2023 is the minimum score that is needed by a candidate to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2023. As the exam results have been out for both JEE Main and Advanced, NTA (National Test Agency) has released the cut-offs as well.

There are mainly two types of cut-offs, – qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff, one should not be confused between them. The qualifying cut-off is the minimum marks candidates ought to secure to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced exam. The admission cut-off is the opening and closing rank prescribed by all the institutes to get admission which is released by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

JEE Advanced 2023 Cut-off

Finally, the result of JEE Advanced has come out marking the end of the wait of IIT aspirants. Along with the result, NTA also has released the cut-off of the candidates eligible for the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling.

  • Can I get IIT with the 70 percentile SC category?
